Our Story
Well... it all started at work.
As two (recovering! Or so we tell ourselves) workaholics, it could not have been more predictable, if entirely unexpected, that we would find one another not merely in a work-related setting, but within the very same institution.
Stationed at desks 509 and 510, Louise and Matthew sat directly across from each other, separated only by a pair of laptops and an alarming quantity of unread emails. With every coffee Matthew offered to make, every treat Louise smuggled back from her travels for the fifth floor, every heated debate about geopolitics, and a near-constant stream of banter, their fondness for one another quietly and consistently grew. Until the moment when, after Louise had come to appreciate that British flirting operates at frequencies undetectable to the untrained ear, the two finally went for a coffee in St. James's Park.

Bom, tudo começou… no trabalho.
Como dois "workaholics" (em recuperação! Ou pelo menos é o que dizemos para nós mesmos), seria difícil imaginar algo mais previsível, ainda que completamente inesperado, do que nos encontrarmos não só num ambiente de trabalho, mas exatamente na mesma instituição.
Sentados nas mesas 509 e 510, Louise e Matthew passavam os dias um de frente para o outro, separados apenas por dois monitores e uma pilha preocupante de e-mails não lidos. A cada café que Matthew se oferecia para fazer, a cada docinho que Louise trazia de suas viagens perambulando pelo mundo, e a cada debate animado sobre geopolítica no quinto andar da mesma instituição, a admiração de um pelo outro foi crescendo — até o dia em que Louise finalmente compreendeu que o flerte britânico opera em frequências indetectáveis ao ouvido destreinado, e os dois foram tomar um café no St. James's Park.
